Quickstart

Get started with Quorum in minutes.

Your first request, reading the answer, and the case where nothing resolves. The example is a shopping agent about to trust a store it cannot verify.

1. Add the serverOne entry in your agent config.
2. Make a requestThe question, its answer space, and what a mistake costs.
3. See the responseOne of your options, with its confidence.

1. Add the server

The MCP server is hosted, so this is one URL in your agent’s MCP config: nothing to install or build, no signup and no key to paste. In Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http quorum https://api.quorumhq.xyz/mcp

{  "mcpServers": {    "quorum": { "url": "https://api.quorumhq.xyz/mcp" }  }}

2. Make a request

Your agent now has ask_human. Over plain HTTP the same call looks like this.

curl -X POST $QUORUM_URL/v1/questions \  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \  -d '{    "kind": "verify",    "question": "Is this the brand’s own store?",    "answer_schema": { "type": "boolean" },    "context": { "text": "Nike Official Store, nike-outlet-sale.shop" },    "deadline_ms": 30000,    "cost_of_error": "180.00",    "caller_confidence": 0.9  }'
The first call returns 402 with a payment challenge and a claim URL. Pay it, then call the claim URL. That request blocks until a person answers.
